Our Ingredients and Packaging
Precautions
There is very little scientific research that has been done on the use of essential oils, for a variety of reasons.

We recommend that you consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal products (including essential oils), particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications.

Allergy Warnings:
Essential oils can cause skin irritation, we recommend testing any products you are unsure about on your forearm, discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Some of our products contain nuts, and there is always a possibility of cross contamination.
While animals are not allowed in our work area, our products are produced in a pet friendly house.
How packaging is chosen
We choose to package many of our products in mason jars in order to align with our sustainability belief. Mason jars are both easily reusable and generally fully recyclable (always double check with your local facility). The same is true for the aluminum tins we have as well.

Rarely, we do use plastic containers, especially for items meant for travel, but we are working to find more sustainable and equally efficient containers
How ingredients are chosen
Our goal is to always use high quality ingredients in all of our products. Where possible we use organic, sustainably produced, or fair trade ingredients. We also endeavor to use local sources where possible to reduce our carbon footprint and support local businesses and producers. When sourced from small local producers (or grown ourselves) ingredients may be grown organically, but have not received certification, and as a result will not be labeled organic. If you have any questions about the ingredients in our products please contact us.
